EB-3 Visa

Case Study: Functional Equivalencies for Labor Requirements

Recently, a client came to us with a 3-Year Bachelor of Arts Degree in Corporate Secretaryship. He had applied for an EB-3 visa, and required an expert opinion that his degree was in fact the functional equivalent of a U.S. Bachelor Degree in Computer Science. Using only the expert opinion of Professor John Kersey, whose evaluations have regularly been approved by the USCIS, we were able to help the client demonstrate that his degree was in fact functionally the same as its U.S. equivalency in Computer Science. This client was directed to us by an experienced immigration attorney who had previously worked successfully with Career Consulting International. Due to the unique nature of every case, CCI cannot guarantee that every outcome will be successful. We do know, however, that we regularly receive reports like this from our clients that their work or immigration visas have been approved, or that RFEs and Denials have been successfully answered. Because we specialize in the toughest cases, we are glad to know when our efforts achieve results. If you have a similar story to share, contact us today!]]>

Case Study: Foreign Credential Evaluation For 3-Year Bachelor Degree

I-140 Visa was recently approved. I wanted to share the good news with you. On behalf of our client and our firm, I want to say thank you, again, for your excellent work and diligence in handling this critical matter. Your evaluation of a 3-Year Degree from Venezuela was key in this case.” This client had applied for and received an EB-3 Visa at the Nebraska Service Center (NSC). The client was from Venezuela, and required proof that his degree was the U.S. equivalency of a U.S. Bachelor Degree. We were able to do this with a foreign credential evaluation and an expert opinion. Because this attorney had worked with us previously, and was well aware of our commitment to service excellence, we had the opportunity to assist this client. If you know someone facing an RFE or denial, encourage that person to contact CCItoday. We want to continue working for success stories just like these!]]>

Case Study: 3-Year degree in Commerce from India

CCI responded to another client who received an RFE through the Nebraska Service Center. The RFE indicated a strong potential for the denial of the client’s EB-3 Visa. The grounds indicated in the RFE were that the foreign degree in commerce was not the U.S. equivalency of a Bachelor Degree in Business Administration. The client wrote back to thank the agency for the excellent evaluation and extensive documentation in support of the three-year degree. He also received approval for his EB-3 Visa. Expert opinions that demonstrate the educational equivalency of the 3-year degree require a lot of research and can be expensive. This is because the process of showing that these foreign education credentials are equivalent requires extensive evidence. The responses of our clients, however, show a high degree of success, so we know that what we’re doing works. If you’ve received a denial or RFE, contact CCI with your information and let us tell you whether we can help. That’s why we’re here.]]>
